Product Description

Hydrangea Groundbreaker® Blush™ is a groundcover hydrangea with a revolutionary low-growing habit. Unlike traditional hydrangeas, it forms a neat, spreading mound rather than growing into a large shrub, making it an excellent choice where space is limited or where you want to cover the ground with flowers.

From July through November, the plant becomes smothered in conical clusters of delicate, four-petalled blooms. The flowers begin white and gradually warm to charming rosy-pink shades, creating a changing display throughout summer and well into autumn.

With a mature height and spread of approximately 30 x 60cm, Groundbreaker® Blush™ is highly versatile. Use it to edge borders, fill containers and window boxes, create low planting schemes or cover larger areas in landscaping projects. It is also resilient in sunny and drought conditions, combining impressive flower power with a low-maintenance nature.

Care Tips

• Plant in a sunny position for the best flowering performance.

• Water regularly while establishing, particularly during prolonged dry weather.

• Once established, the plant is resilient in drought conditions, although watering during extended periods of drought will help maintain healthy growth and flowering.

• Choose a well-drained, fertile soil and improve poor soil with organic matter before planting.

• Allow enough space for the plant to develop its natural low, spreading habit.
