Product Description
Whartons ‘Sweet Wishes’ Red Patio Rose is a delightful miniature rose that delivers impressive floral impact despite its compact size. Growing to around 40–60cm tall, this attractive patio rose forms a neat, rounded bush covered in rich dark red blooms that flower continuously throughout the growing season.
The fully double flowers feature layers of velvety petals arranged in elegant concentric circles around golden stamens, creating blooms with exceptional depth, texture and visual appeal. Flowering generously from June through to September, Sweet Wishes provides a reliable source of colour for patios, terraces, balconies and garden borders.
Supported by healthy mid-green foliage, this compact rose is particularly effective in decorative containers where its vivid flowers can be enjoyed up close. Its manageable size makes it ideal for urban gardens, courtyard spaces and even sunny windowsills. The long flowering season ensures a constant display of blooms, while its light fragrance adds further charm to outdoor seating areas.
Beyond its ornamental value, Sweet Wishes is also suitable for flower pressing, making it a wonderful choice for gardeners who enjoy creative floral crafts. Its compact growth habit can even help stabilise sloping areas when planted in groups, adding both beauty and practical value to the landscape.
