Negroni

We’ve partnered with Vault distillery, just outside of Cambridge, to develop a full bodied, rich yet fresh and easy drinking Negroni. Rich and deep in colour and heavily aromatic. 

Alongside the traditional gin, vermouth and bitter element, we’ve also made a black lime distillate for our signature Ottolenghi twist. The dried black limes are sourced from Ren’s Spices, and we vacuum distil them in a neutral spirit to add depth and intense aromatics to the negroni. 

The vermouth is Vault’s own Forest Red vermouth made with nettle, pine and rosemary. The bitter element is Vault’s bitter aperitivo made with sage, fig, orange peel and oregano. The gin is also produced by Vault and has Calamondin leaf and orange thyme as two key botanicals.

Sediment may appear naturally, and any separation is completely normal. 

SERVING INSTRUCTIONS – Pour 100ml over ice in a rocks glass and garnish with an orange slice. Chill before serving. Serves 5.
