Product Description

Enjoy the distinctive beauty of botanical tulips with this Kapiteyn bulb gift kit. Tulipa turkestanica produces clusters of small, star-shaped white flowers with deep yellow centres, complemented by narrow grey-green leaves. The outer petals have subtle reddish-green markings, adding extra detail to the spring display.

The canvas planter offers a practical way to grow seasonal flowers without a garden border. With bulbs and compost supplied together, this tulip growing kit makes an enjoyable autumn planting project. Position the planter where you can appreciate the flowers up close, such as beside a patio seating area or on a sunny terrace.

Care and Planting Tips

Plant in autumn, following the supplied instructions for bulb depth and spacing within the canvas planter. Choose a sunny position and ensure excess water drains freely. This species benefits from protection against excessive winter wet; a cool greenhouse or sheltered growing area is useful during prolonged rainfall.

Water as needed during active growth without leaving the compost waterlogged. After flowering, allow the leaves to die back naturally so the bulbs can store energy for the following season.
