Product Description
The David Austin ‘Sir David Beckham’ White English Shrub Rose is an exceptional modern English rose, bred for both beauty and garden performance. Producing medium-sized, deeply cupped blooms in large open sprays, the flowers open from soft white with subtle yellow tones before maturing to a fresh, crisp white. The gently upturned outer petals add elegance and texture, making this variety a standout feature in any garden setting.
Highly floriferous and repeat flowering throughout the season, this David Austin shrub rose delivers continuous displays of scented blooms from early summer into autumn. Its fragrance evolves beautifully as the flowers open, beginning with delicate green banana notes before deepening into a warm honeyed musk with hints of nougat and clove.
With its upright, balanced growth habit, ‘Sir David Beckham’ is well suited to mixed borders, rose gardens, patio containers, and traditional cottage garden schemes. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and performs reliably across all soil types. The blooms also attract bees and beneficial pollinators, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.
Created in partnership with The King’s Foundation, this rose also supports a meaningful cause. Sir David Beckham serves as an Ambassador for the charity, and £2.50 from each sale helps support King Charles III’s nature and sustainability initiatives, heritage crafts, and sustainable communities.
