High-Protein Nutrition for Ferrets

Burgess Excel Ferret Nuggets have been specially formulated around the nutritional requirements of ferrets, providing a protein-rich diet in a convenient single-component nugget.

With a minimum of 42% poultry meal alongside fish meal and hydrolysed poultry meal, the recipe provides quality animal protein and delivers 38% crude protein. It also contains 20% oils and fats to provide a nutritionally rich everyday diet.

Unlike mixed foods where pets may pick out their favourite ingredients, the extruded nugget format helps prevent selective feeding, ensuring your ferret receives balanced nutrition from each portion.

The recipe contains short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides, which act as prebiotics to encourage beneficial gut bacteria. Added taurine helps maintain coat condition, while Vitamins A, D3 and E contribute to healthy skin, coat, teeth and bones.

Composition

Poultry meal (min. 42%), rice, poultry fat, fish meal, hydrolysed poultry meal, brewer’s yeast, beet pulp, poultry gravy, salt, short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides (0.25%) and potassium chloride.
