What is English breakfast tea? Its 19th Century origin in Britain was to create something sublime through combining black teas. The art has fallen into disrepute – with commercial blends often containing up to 60 different teas bought at auction with no traceability, selected for price and colour, to create unremarkable uniformity.
Our English breakfast blends collection offers careful combination of exquisite loose leaf teas, to create something better than the sum of their parts. Each is a blend to create something singular.
These unique, loose leaf breakfast teas are an epicurean delight to start the day, depending on your mood. In truth they are delicious at any time of the day – great with elevenses, wonderful with afternoon tea, and always a sublime pick-me-up.
