Named after the miraculous tale of an ancient dragon who is believed to guard the waters of a well in the lush home of this tea around Hangzhou.
We are yet to meet the dragon, but we do know Shentang Wen, the best pan-firer in the region. The unique preparation of the leaves in the pan elicits a roasted chestnut flavour, which combines with spring fresh floral notes to create the refreshing warmth this tea is loved for.
